Pam Charbonneau and Rob Witherspoon Join DCS & Associates

David Smith is pleased to announce the expansion of his DCS Agronomics business with the addition of two experienced associates to his consulting team.

Pam Charbonneau brings twenty-four years of experience as Ontario’s turfgrass specialist to her new role as Turfgrass and Agronomic Consultant with DCS & Associates. Pam completed a B.Sc. (Agr.) and M.Sc. degrees at the University of Guelph and is also a graduate of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program. Her extensive turf management experience with a focus on integrated pest management includes conducting practical research, providing advice to industry professionals, writing articles and publications, public speaking, conference speaker program development and teaching.

“Working with this new team is a great opportunity for me. Our expertise and backgrounds compliment one another bringing a wide range of services to the turf industry within one company,” said Charbonneau.

Rob Witherspoon has thirty years experience as an educator, communicator and consultant with the University of Guelph. He holds B.Sc.(Agr.) and M.Sc. degrees. Rob’s experience includes teaching, program development and management as well as acting as the lead consultant for consulting services provided by the Guelph Turfgrass Institute over the past twenty years. In this role he has managed a variety of turf and landscape management projects serving municipalities, universities and colleges, school boards, landscape architecture and construction firms, engineering companies, golf courses and sod producers.

“Our range of experience and complimentary areas of expertise will allow us to provide a very broad range of services to the green industry,” said Witherspoon.

“The addition of Pam and Rob greatly expands the scope of services DCS can provide to the turfgrass industry,” added David Smith who has rebranded his business as DCS & Associates to reflect the new business model.
